Three days of sessions and a focus on Haikus by Charlie Newman give this release focus and immediacy. Perhaps limited in some ways this work has less focus on a "hit" song, but the direct and honest vocals clear artifice from the air to let feelings be what they are.

I don't remember my Indian interest actually hitting a cover of a Bodycocktail release before this. This is an artistic treatment of a fabric panel from a local Indian restaurant. At this point of course I'm cognizant and quite excited about approaching my 100th release, but the chill in the air here, you'd never know.
