The end of 2005 produced a string of strong releases flush with vim. The self confident joy of "I've Seen It" is emblematic how making songs at this pace becomes a way of working and loving ones work pays off.

1996, 2004 & 2005 are the years Bodycocktail created 24 releases. With pride I can say these are years of excellence not excess for it's own sake. An 2004 and '05 I was using the widest range of things to motivate my studio activities and various musical equipment often pushed in one direction or another to explore possibilities of techniques, sonorities, timbres and effects to create things I felt unexplored.

Alongside these Bodycocktail works I was engaged in a great deal of music trading and collaborating with fellow home recording artists worldwide, often in the experimental realm. So frankly it's not uncommon for me to take lessons, techniques and ideas from one field of endeavor, for instance ~ music, and apply that to a different field ~ perhaps noise or experimental collaborations. Back and forth cross-pollination over the years allows things to stay refreshed across the wide body of work being created.

Since 1993 Bodycocktail has been the proto-new wave project of Zan Hoffman. Considered "Kentucky's Punk Crooner" by his Galician fans in the northwest of Spain, Bodycocktail produced over 200 releases in their 1st 20 years.
