This album marks the transition into the "modern era" of Bodycocktail with the studio addition of a portable Tascam Pocketstudio 5 bought for Zanstones 2004 tour of Dutch and Belgian squats. Previous to this piece of equipment I felt a crisis around Bodycocktail's drums and here was the first and most natural drum machine I'd even owned built into a multi-track.

The impact can be seen best in Bodycocktail's 21st Century productivity.

Cover photo is of a modern building in Groningen, Holland, one of the cities of Zanstones 2004 tour. All but two tracks were made before the tour as a way of learning how to use this machine before taking it into the field to do recordings with it. If Duracell batteries were not used this Tascam lasted less than 15 minutes in the field, a lesson cruelly learned in Belgium.

Since 1993 Bodycocktail has been the proto-new wave project of Zan Hoffman. Considered "Kentucky's Punk Crooner" by his Galician fans in the northwest of Spain, Bodycocktail produced over 200 releases in their 1st 20 years.
