Balla's "Fist of Boccioni" pictured on the cover is an overt homage to the punchy influence the Italian Futurists still present in my lifework. "Every soul is like every other soul...making do with less and wanting more" sets the tone for the release. "Attack!" is "polishing machine guns" and "asking for forgiveness in the midst of guilty acts".
"in the cul-de-sacs of my heart" you'll find songs unafraid to press the point, extract the emotional tones with "jagged realities".
